About Legend of Fenrirak™

Legend Of Fenrirak was originally created by four Year 7 students at Murrays Bay Intermediate in New Zealand. Since then, it has continued to grow and evolve into something much larger.

Currently, Legend of Fenrirak includes 2 board games, 3 in-progress story books, an in-progress online version, and countless future ideas waiting to be developed.

Legend of Fenrirak, The Thunder Dragon

Legend of Fenrirak, The Thunder Dragon is the original board game and the birth of Legend of Fenrirak.

The core concept of the board game is that each player (up to six) selects a character class—mage, knight, or archer—and then moves around the board to collect items, gold, and keys while battling monsters that serve under the command of the final boss, Fenrirak. Through the adventure players have to gather the correct keys to unlock the gate to the boss arena, where they will face Fenrirak, a large, ocean-blue dragon coated in a heavy layer of scales.

Legend of Fenrirak, The Ice Dragon

Legend of Fenrirak, The Ice Dragon is the second board game acting as a sequel to the Thunder Dragon due to its magnificent success.

The main objective of this board game is similar to the original; however, several enhancements have been introduced to improve gameplay. The board now features an increased number of squares, a new playable character, the barbarian, and a dedicated box has been designed to store the game and all its components. In addition, rule refinements and a new battling system were added, resulting in the completion of the second version of the board game.

Legend of Fenrirak – Showdowns

The origins of Legend of Fenrirak Showdowns are as unexpected as you can get. The idea began on a Saturday night when Nathan dreamed of a basic PvP game concept. Upon waking the next morning, he immediately documented the game's rules and simple mechanics. Together with Ronald, they then developed the concept further, eventually bringing it to life as a playable game.

The main objective of this board game is to defeat all the other players on the board. The board is filled with different terrains and chests, forcing players to make important decisions that can completely change the course of the game.

After weeks of hard work, we finally have an ONLINE version for everyone to play! It's currently single-player, where you'll battle against AI opponents.

Legend of Fenrirak, The Forgotten Adventure

Legend of Fenrirak, The Forgotten Adventure is a story that happened 100 years before The Thunder Dragon. It sets the backstory of why Fenrirak became a threat to humans. Read the blurb below!

Legend of Fenrirak, The Thunder Dragon was recreated in Minecraft as a fun and easy way for us to meet up and play our board game online…

Only, it took us over 2 years to finish most of it, and some components were impossible to add using Minecraft (see below). We ended up pausing the project and focusing our attention on other projects such as the Ice Dragon and The Forgotten Adventure.
